TEACHING PRACTICE DAY 21



Today, the staff and management of the school went for a tour. So, there was no regular class on the day. Students were given this day as study holiday for the coming monthly exam.

  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP DAY 40 Last day of internship... As usual, I reached the school by 8.30 am and then signed the attendance register at HM's office. After that I had morning duty in front of LP section. Today, the last day in school. I had my last class at 8E1 in the second hour. Students gave me their feedbacks, sang songs for me, gave me a farewell from the bottom of their heart. At 11. 00 am we had a meeting with HM and principal. All of us shared our feedbacks and contributed books to the school library. In the 4th hour, I had substitution at 5N. I engaged the students by reading newspaper and some of them engaged in decorating the classroom for Onam celebration.    At 12.20 pm I went for food distribution duty. Then we had lunch.  In the sixth hour, I had class at 8E1 . There was a painting competition for the students that time. INAUGURAL CEREMONY 2021-2023 B. Ed BATCH

  FIRST DAY @ MTTC!!  My first day at Mar Theophilus Training College, the beginning of my two year B.Ed journey started with inauguration at the college auditorium. Parents, teachers and students gathered at the auditorium. It was a pleasant experience. The programme was organized by our seniors and it started with prayer, Bhagavad Gita, Bible and Quran reading. The verses from the holy books gave freshness to my mind. The welcome dance by our seniors was mind blowing. Our Principal Dr Benedict Sir, Fr. Thomas Kayyalackal, teachers, parent representative and union chairman lighted the lamp to our two year journey and our Principal pass this light of wisdom to everyone. Then Benedict Sir and Fr.   Today, the day began with morning prayer in the college chapel which made my day more energetic. The first hour was optional class. Deepthi ma'am taught us the first unit of pedagogy - Techno Pedagogic Content Knowledge and Self instructional Strategies. We also made preparations for our assembly which is going to be happening in the coming Wednesday. In the afternoon session we had Joju sir's class. We learnt about Formative and Summative Assessment and had an open debate on the merits and demerits of internal evaluation and external evaluation. Also we learnt about Achievement Test.
