  Last Day... Today, the last day of our training. As usual, I reached the school by 8 am and signed the attendance register at principal's office. Then after the morning prayer, I gave our feedback form to principal. Today the school organised a fire and safety awareness class lead by Kerala fire and rescue services. And that was an informative class. In the afternoon session all of us were busy completing our last moment duties and works in the school. We got our record signed by the principal, Dr. James Sir. I also took a snap with Beena ma'am❤️.  We also expressed our heartfelt thanks to all our teachers, staffs, principal, vice principal for their support, guidance and consideration given to us. In the last hour, 9A arranged a farewell, presented a video with some memorable pics... ❤️ At the end of the day, we took a group photo with the principal and closed our attendance register.   One more day...😶 Towards the end of our teaching practice... Today was the second last day of our training. I reached the school by 8 am. First hour, I had substitution at 6A. I revised some math problems in the class. After that I engaged in completing my record. Then got sign from the school principal. After the lunch break, I had substitution at 5B. Students engaged in completing their notes. In the last hour, I got substitution at 9A. I collected feedback from the students. They gave me their suggestions and opinion about my class. The class ended by 3 pm and after signing the attendance register, I left the school by 3.40 pm.

  34th Day... As usual I reached the school by 8 am. After the morning prayer, I had class at 9A. Today's class was remedial teaching for their difficult areas conducted in the diagnostic test. I took remedial class on the topic Total Surface Area of Cylinder. In the second hour, all of us went to 8A and happily shared our token of love to our students - chocolates, sweets and  a pen. In the interval time we distributed sweets and chocolates in 9A also. In the third hour, I went for class observation of Anu and Riya at 9A. They were doing team teaching. In the afternoon session, fifth hour, we conducted conscientisation programme - Stressed Out??? Let's Free Our Mind... in 9A. The class was handled by Anu, Riya and myself. The introduction part on definition of stress and stress management was handled by me. Riya and Anu handled the techniques for stress management. The whole session was activity oriented. In the end we collected feedback from students. In the last hour, I had

  3 more days... I have completed my assigned portions in 9A on time and conducted achievement test and diagnostic test. So, in this last week most of the first hour I had no class at 9A. I engaged in doing other duties assigned to me. Today, first hour, I had substitution at 5A. I cleared some of their doubts in mathematics. In the second hour, I went for class observation of Fr. Sujith at 8A. In my free time I engaged in completing my record works. In the seventh hour, I got substitution at 7D. The class engaged in writing their English notes. In the last hour, I went for collecting my feedback from Beena ma'am.

  Last week of teaching practice... The day began as usual. First hour I conducted diagnostic test for class 9A based on the weak areas identified from the achievement test. The test was objective type and included one word, MCQ, match the following, and true or false. In the third hour, I went along with Riya to 9A for capturing the video of her health education class. In the fourth hour, I had substitution at 2A. I engaged the class by making them do problems on the board related to multiplication and division. In the afternoon session, I had substitution at 3F. Children read their malayalam textbook. The whole day ended well with lots of memories...

  31st Day... As usual I reached the school by 8 am. Today first hour I took class on health education regarding the topic, Obesity at 9A . The class was activity and ICT  oriented. In the second hour, I accompanied Arunima to 8A and took the video of her health education class. In the fourth hour, I went along with Anu for class observation at 9A. In the afternoon session, 6th hour, I got substitution at 3I. Last two hours was free for me and I engaged in completing my record works.

30th Day... Coming towards the end of teaching practice... I reached the school by 8 am. First hour, I accompanied my colleague Anu for conducting achievement test at 8A. In the second hour, I conducted a psychology test on time management for the students of 8B. About 30 students attended the test and filled the questionnaire. In the third hour, I got substitution at 3G. In the fourth hour, I went for class observation of Anu at 9A. Today, afternoon session was free for me and I engaged in completing my record works.

  29th Day... Few more days... Today, as usual, I had first hour at 9A. The class dealt with problems on arithmetic mean. In the second hour, I had substitution at 4E. Children engaged in completing their malayalam copy books and drawing. Today we got a surprise from our 9A students. It was totally unexpected and unforgettable moments for us. They shared their experiences with us, gave us their token of love, and their feedbacks. We also shared our experiences in teaching. Those moments filled us with happiness and tears. Last hour I had substitution at 1G. Today was one of the most memorable days of my teaching practice.....

  28th Day... As usual, I reached the school by 8 am. After the morning prayer, I went for my class at 9A. The class mainly dealt with solving problems on arithmetic mean. Third hour, I had substitution at 6A. I engaged the class by playing games and making the children read their Malayalam textbook. Next hour, I went for class observation of Riya at 9A, Chemistry. In the afternoon session I had substitution at 1D. The class went smoothly and children sang group songs. The whole day went well with lots of memories and experiences.

  27th Day... My day began as usual. First hour, I had class at 9A. The class dealt with problems on arithmetic mean. In the second hour, I had substitution at 7H. I asked questions from English for their exam in the coming hour. Third hour, I had exam duty at 10 B. Students of class VII and VIII standard were in the exam hall and they were having English and Mathematics exam. In the fourth hour, I went for class observation of Anu and Riya at 9A. In the afternoon session, I had substitution at 4F. I engaged the class by reading Malayalam textbook. Last hours were free for me and I engaged in completing my record works. Our training was fixed upto February 17 but as most of the students requested for extension to complete the assigned portions teaching practice was extended for one more week upto February 24.

  26th Day... Today I conducted Achievement Test for class 9A. Two chapters - Prisms and Proportion were included for the test. The test was for 25 marks containing 3 sections  - Section A : five 1 mark questions, Section B : five 3 mark questions and Section C : one 5 mark question. The test was for 45 minutes. In the 3rd and 4th hour, I had exam duty at 9F. In the afternoon session, I went for substitution at 8B. I collected data for my optional practicum regarding the impact of mathematics laboratory from the students. Last hour was free for me and I engaged in completing my record works.

  25th Day... With lots of memories and experiences teaching practice went on... Today, I had first hour at 9A. I introduced the concept of frequency table in the class. In the second hour, I had substitution at 6G. I revised and asked questions from English Grammar for their exam in the next hour. In the third hour, I went for exam duty at 10B. Fourth hour also I had exam duty at 6H. In the afternoon session, fifth hour, I had substitution at 2F. Last three hours was free for me. I engaged in completing my record works.

  24th Day... As usual I reached the school on time. First hour I had class at 9A. The class dealt with the topic average. In the second hour, I got substitution at 6E. Students engaged in studying for their monthly exam. Today also I got exam duty in the fourth hour. In the afternoon session, fifth hour, I had class at 9A. The class dealt with problems on average. In the seventh hour, I went for class observation of Irene at 9A. The classes ended by 3 pm...

  23rd Day... The day began as usual. First hour, I had class at 9A. The class dealt with the topic averages. In the 3rd hour, I got exam duty at 1H. They were having Hindi exam. It was totally a new experience to me with the tiny tots. In the afternoon session, I got substitution at 5G. Children engaged in studying for their monthly exam. After that, I and Megha went for inviting the teachers of the school who are former students of our college to THEOSA FEST- 2023. Seventh hour, I had substitution at 7B. I collected feedback from the students regarding my class. They genuinely gave their valuable feedbacks. All of them liked my class and some suggested me to reduce my speed of teaching.

  22nd Day... Today, the 22nd day of my teaching practice. As usual I reached the school. First hour I had class at 9A. I started the chapter Statistics. In the second hour I got substitution at 5I. I revised the topics for their Mathematics monthly exam. In the 5th hour, I had class at 7B. The class dealt with the topic Reflection Symmetry. In the next hour, I went for class observation of Riya at 9A. Neena ma'am also came for class observation. 7th hour, I got substitution at 3I. I divided the class into two groups and asked questions from the chapter water, energy for their monthly exam. Last hour, I engaged in completing my record works. Then after the National Anthem, I left the school by 3:40 pm.

Today, the staff and management of the school went for a tour. So, there was no regular class on the day. Students were given this day as study holiday for the coming monthly exam.

  20th Day... Half of the training completed... I reached the school by 8 am. Today there was a slight change in my daily routine. First hour was free for me. I engaged in completing my record works. In the 2nd hour, I had substitution at 5H. As their monthly exam is coming the next day, I gave the students some math problems. In the 3rd hour, I had class at 7B. I continued with the chapter - Symmetry. In the 4th hour, I had substitution at 4F. After the lunch break, I had substitution at 5G. I gave them math problems to solve. In the 7th hour, I had substitution at 5I. Children engaged in studying for the monthly exam. The classes ended by 3 pm and after the National Anthem, I left the school by 3:40 pm.

  19th Day... As usual I reached the school by 8 am. After the morning prayer I went for my class at 9A. Today's class mainly dealt with problems on inverse and direct proportion. Anu and Riya came for my class observation. In the next hour, I went for class observation of Anu at 9A, Chemistry. In the 4th hour, I engaged in completing my record works. In the afternoon session, 5th hour I had substitution at 3C. I engaged the class by making them read Malayalam textbook. In the last two hours, I engaged in completing my record works.
