It's_me _Anju

  18th Day... Today, I reached the school by 8 am. After the morning prayer, I had class at 9A. The class mainly dealt with problems on proportion. At the end of the class I distributed the papers of the test paper conducted in the previous class and discussed the answers. In the  second hour I went for class observation of my colleague Megha at 9A. In the next hour I engaged in completing my record works. In the fourth hour I went for class observation of Arunima at 8A, Malayalam. She was teaching a poem and the class was interesting and interactive. In the afternoon session, George Sir came for evaluating the Yoga class of four of my colleagues - Stijo, Arunima, Megha and Lekshmi. After the evaluation we took a group photo with George sir. Nadhaniel sir also came today for class observation of malayalam optional students and gave us some tips for teaching. In the last two hours I engaged in completing my record works.

  17th Day... The day began with morning prayer in the school. First hour I conducted test paper on the chapter Prisms for class 9A. The test was conducted for 15 marks with 5 questions. In the second hour, I engaged in paper correction. In the third hour, I went for class observation at 8A of my colleague Drishya, English. In the afternoon session, there was a function in the school, farewell to retiring teachers and blessing of language class.  So there was no regular class.  All students went to auditorium to attend the function. We were assigned substitution at 3rd  standard and I was assigned to manage 3I for the last three hours. Children engaged in drawing, completing malayalam copy books and notes and also played game - SIMON SAYS. By 3 pm the classes ended and after the National Anthem I left the school by 3.40 pm.

  16th Day... Today was the 16th day of my teaching practice. As usual I reached the school. Today I had no class in the first hour at 9A as their moral  science exam was going on. In the second hour, I had substitution at 2G. I engaged the class by playing games. Children also gifted me some paper crafts made by them. In the third hour, I went for class observation of my colleague Riya at 9A. In the fourth hour, I had substitution at 5D. Students engaged in practicing for the radio programme they are conducting. In the afternoon session, I went for class observation of Anu at 9A. Last hour I had substitution at 7B. Students clarified the doubts in Symmetry taught by me. The whole day went smoothly and I left the school by 3.40 pm.

  15th Day... Today's teaching practice began with first two hours class at 9A. The class mainly dealt with Inverse Proportion. Deepthi ma'am came for class observation in the second hour, noted down my improved areas and areas for improvement in my observation book and wished me to become a successful teacher. After the lunch break I had substitution at 6F. I engaged the class by giving them some math problems. During my free time I engaged in completing my record works. The classes ended by 3 pm and I left the school by 3.40 pm.

  Two weeks completed... Completed 2 weeks of my teaching practice😊😊 As usual I reached the school by 8 am. First hour I had class at 9A. The class dealt with problems on proportion. Third hour I again had class at 9A. Today Joju sir came for class observation and observed some of my colleagues classes. Joju sir also gave us some tips regarding class management. In the afternoon session, sixth hour, I had class at 7B. I continued with the chapter Symmetry. Today George sir also came for evaluating our Yoga class. Sir observed the classes of four of my colleagues.

  13th DAY... I reached the school by 8 am. First hour, I had class at 9A. The class dealt with real life examples of constancy in proportionality. In the third hour I had class at 7B.  I continued with the chapter Symmetry. In the fourth hour, I again had class at 9A. The class dealt with problems on proportion. After the lunch break, I had substitution at 2F in the 6th hour. I engaged the class by playing game 'SIMON SAYS'. Next period I had substitution at 3C. students engaged in writing malayalam copy books and some children engaged in drawing. The classes ended by 3 pm. After the National Anthem, I left the school by 3.40 pm.

12th DAY... As usual I reached the school by 8 am and signed the attendance register at the principal's office. After the morning prayer, I had class at 9A.  The class dealt with problems on proportion. In the second hour, I engaged in completing my record works. Third and fourth hour, I had class at  7B, which was my first day there. I started the chapter Symmetry. After the lunch break I engaged in completing my record works. Last hour, I had class at 9A. I began a new concept, Constancy in proportionality. Then after the National Anthem, I signed the attendance register at principal's office and left the school by 3.40 pm.

  11th DAY... I reached the school by 8 am. After the morning prayer I had first hour at 9A. The class dealt with real life examples of proportion. In the next hour, I engaged in completing my record works. By 10:30 am our principal,   Dr. K Y Benedict sir came for observation and observed Fr. Sujith's class. Sir also signed and verified our lesson templates. Fourth hour I had substitution at 3B. After the lunch break, I engaged in completing my record works.  Seventh hour, I again had class at 9A. The class dealt with problems on proportion.  The class ended by 3 pm and I left the school by 3:40 pm.

10th day of my intense teaching practice... As usual I reached the school by 8:00 am and signed the attendance register at the principal's office. After the morning prayer, I had class at 9A  in the first and second hour. I started new chapter Proportion in the class. Joju sir and Deepthi ma'am came for class observation in the second hour. Joju sir suggested me to control mass answering and also said my class is powerful and smart class. Deepthi ma'am suggested to improve my gestures and sound and also said I am confident and tension free and ensured active participation of students. In my free time, I engaged in completing my record works. After the lunch break, I got one more hour at 9A. In the last two hours, I engaged in completing my record works. The classes ended by 3 pm and I left the school by 3:30 pm.

 Today was the 9th day of teaching practice. I reached the school by 8 am. First hour I had class at 9A. In the 2nd and 3rd hour, I engaged in practicing yoga as we had evaluation today. In the 4th hour I had substitution at 5C. Students sang songs and also engaged the class by playing games. In the afternoon session, in the 6th hour George sir came for our yoga class evaluation- myself, Anu, Annu and Drishya. 6 students from 8A were selected for the same. I was asked to take the introductory and preparatory part. In the second last hour, I had class at 9A. In my free time I engaged in completing my record works.

  8th DAY... I reached the school by 8 am. As usual after the morning prayer,  I had class at 9A. Today I introduced the concept Volume of cylinder. The class was ICT oriented. In the 2nd hour I engaged in completing my record works. In the 4th hour I went along with Anu to 9A, helped her in demonstrating an experiment. In the 5th hour, we gave a practice of yoga commands to the students of class 8A. In the 6th hour, I had substitution at 4F. After that I had substitution at 6D, 5F.  I engaged the substitution classes by telling motivational stories, playing games etc. After the class, all of us signed the attendance register at principal's office and left the school by 3.40 pm.
