A blissful day...  Still continuing to be online, the day started with our respected Benedict sir's class. Karishma refreshed our mind with a beautiful prayer song. In this class Benedict sir made us aware of the duties we have to do in the coming weeks.  1.School Induction 2.Classroom video observation (both Indian and foreign)  3.Micro level teaching 4.Lesson plan template Then we had a lecture about feedback, formative assessment and summative assessment.   Benedict sir also reminded us about the three questions a teacher has to ask himself/herself before going to a class and also we discussed the three answers to the same.  Sir also encouraged us to keep a five subject notebook so that we have a systematic note with us.  Book referred by Benedict sir which will help in our B.Ed life Second hour was optional, which started with a nice thought as usual by Sreeja.  'God resides in the heart of good hearted people.   Continuing to be online... Today, started with Joju sir's Technology class on AUDIO VISUAL AIDS . We learnt about different types of audio visual aids- projected and non projected aids.  Then we had Ancy Ma'am's class. We learnt about the characteristics of LATER CHILDHOOD.  Last hour was optional, started with Sr. Deepa's thought.  ' Always value the advice of elders. First it may be bitter, but later it will surely be a blessing. ' Then we had seminar presentation by Ponnu on The Contribution of Great Mathematician- Carl Friedrich Gauss.  Today Deepthi Ma'am taught us INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES : NCERT.  In the evening we had a meeting to discuss about the International Conference on 'Incremental Changes in Instructional Strategies and Research in Higher Education' which will be organized by our college on the coming March 3,4 and 5.

 Because of the rapid increase in covid cases, considering our concerns our class is again shifted to online mode today.  Today's class started at 9:30 am. First we had optional class which started with thought for the day as usual.  'No matter how much knowledge we have. Only if we had humbleness we will be able to express our knowledge. ' Then we had seminar presentation by Jisha sister on The contribution of great mathematician - RENE DESCARTES .  Second hour we had Gibi Ma'am's class. We learnt about different SCHOOLS OF PSYCHOLOGY:                 1.Structuralism                2.Funtionalism                3.Psychoanalytic School Last hour Maya Ma'am taught us about IDEALISM-Method of teaching in idealism, role of teacher, contributions.  Don't know when will our classes be shifted to offline mode and everything will be back to normalcy.  Lets hope for the best... 

The day started with Maya ma'am's Philosophy class. As usual we were divided into two batches. We learnt about IDEALISM in Schools of Philosophy .  After that we had optional class which began with a good thought by Shalu.  'Ignore those who will become a threat to your life. ' Then we had seminar presentation by Suji about The Contribution of Great Mathematician - Pythagorus and Deepthi Ma'am taught us about Psychomotor Domain.  In the afternoon session we had Joju Sir's class. Sir gave 27 important points about the Effectiveness Indicators of a Class .  Be pleasant Mastery learning Proper eye contact Connect with life etc.  After the class we gave a small farewell to our dearest teachers who came for internship from Thycadu. Maya Ma'am, Joju Sir and one among us gave our feedbacks and wished them all success in life. They also shared their experience in MTTC family and said to take our teachers as our role models🥰🥰. Back to offline class...  We came back to college today after 7 days of online class. We were divided into two batches, three optionals each.  First hour Ancy ma'am taught us about Early Childhood in Stages of development .  Then we had optional class which started with a thought for the day as usual.  'Self confidence is important than money and wealth. Believe in yourself, then others will believe in you. ' After thought for the day Deepthi ma'am taught us about AFFECTIVE DOMAIN.  In the afternoon session , Joju sir taught us about AUDIO VISUAL AIDS.  The situation in Trivandrum is becoming worse day by day 😟. Covid cases increasing...included in C category. How will our classes be held then? Don't know...  Let's hope for the best. 😇😇

 Today's class started at 11 am. First hour was Health and Physical Education. George Sir taught us how to prepare a HEALTH CHART .  Then we had optional class which started with a beautiful thought by Jeena,  Remove the negatives and bring out the abilities in you.  Then we had assignment presentation by Sreeja and Stijo. They presented the topic Correlation of Mathematics with Agriculture, Engineering, Other Sciences, History, Geography and Economics .  Deepthi Ma'am taught us about Cognitive Domain .  Last hour Benedict Sir taught us about the Phases of teaching and Basic teaching model . 

Continuing to be online.... The day started with Maya Ma'am's Philosophy class. We learnt about the SCHOOLS OF PHILOSOPHY .        1.Idealism       2.Naturalism       3.Realism       4.Pragmatism Then we had Psychology class. Gibi ma'am discussed about LEARNING PROCESS and LEARNING METHOD . Gibi Ma'am also gave a valuable message ' Forget about what is lost and think about whats next... ' Last hour was optional class which started with a beautiful thought by Naveena,  ' ഇന്നു ചെയ്യാനുള്ളത് ഇന്ന് തന്നെ ചെയ്യുക. ഒന്നും നാളെ ചെയ്യാം എന്നു കരുതി മാററ്ി വക്കരുത്'. Then we had assignment presentation by Jeena and Suji about the CORRELATION OF MATHEMATICS WITH PHYSICS, BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, COMMERCE, LOGIC, LANGUAGE and PSYCHOLOGY . At the end of the class Deepthi Ma'am taught us about BLOOMS TAXONOMY. 

  Online class continues.....  Today's first hour was Technology. Revathy Ma'am taught us about PODCASTING, m- LEARNING, WEB BASED LEARNING. At the end of the class Joju sir and we gave our feedback about Revathy Ma'am's class.  Then we had a class on NATIONAL INTEGRATION by  Shabana Ma'am. We learnt the meaning of national integration, obstacles to national integration and suggestions for educational programmes for national integration.  Last hour we had Philosophy class on ERICKSON'S THEORY OF PSYCHO SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT . We learnt about the last four stages in this theory.  STAGE 5 : Identity Vs Role Confusion STAGE 6 : Intimacy Vs Isolation STAGE 7 : Generativity Vs Stagnation STAGE 8 : Integrity Vs Despair

 Today's class started with a beautiful prayer song by Jeena. First hour was Psychology. Sathyalekha Ma'am taught us about 'ERICKSON'S THEORY OF PSYCHO SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT' and four different stages of development: Trust Vs Mistrust, Autonomy Vs Shame and Doubt, Initiative Vs Guilt, Industry Vs Inferiority .  Then we had optinal class which started with a beautiful thought by Monitha ' Don't carry your stresses for hours and days and  months. So it's important to remember to let go of your stresss'.  After that assignment presentation started. First I gave a presentation on the topic NON EUCLIDEAN GEOMETRY . Then Aparna and Sister Deepa discussed about CORRELATION OF MATHEMATICS .  Last hour was Psychology. Dona Ma'am taught us about EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE and SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE . 

  Third day of our online class...  Today's first hour was handled by Maya Ma'am. We learnt about: PHILOSOPHY FIELDS OF PHILOSOPHY AREAS OR PROBLEMS OF PHILOSOPHY - METAPHYSICS, EPISTEMOLOGY, AXIOLOGY Then we had Technology class by Revathy Ma'am, intern from Thycadu. We learnt about COMPUTER SIMULATION .  Last hour was optional. It started with a beautiful thought for the day by Lekshmi.  'Even if we are in difficult situations, try to overcome it with good thoughts '.  Then we had assignment presentation by Monitha about APPLIED MATHEMATICS and about EUCLIDEAN GEOMETRY by Sruthi.
