A blissful day... 

Still continuing to be online, the day started with our respected Benedict sir's class. Karishma refreshed our mind with a beautiful prayer song. In this class Benedict sir made us aware of the duties we have to do in the coming weeks. 

1.School Induction

2.Classroom video observation (both Indian and foreign) 

3.Micro level teaching

4.Lesson plan template

Then we had a lecture about feedback, formative assessment and summative assessment. 

 Benedict sir also reminded us about the three questions a teacher has to ask himself/herself before going to a class and also we discussed the three answers to the same. 




Sir also encouraged us to keep a five subject notebook so that we have a systematic note with us. 

Book referred by Benedict sir which will help in our B.Ed life

Second hour was optional, which started with a nice thought as usual by Sreeja. 

'God resides in the heart of good hearted people. '

Jeena presented her seminar on The Contribution of Great Mathematician- Bhaskaracharya. 



Then Deepthi Ma'am discussed about BLOOM'S REVISED TAXONOMY. 


Last hour was handled by Ancy ma'am. She explained the steps in creating a Google Classroom and also familiarized us with some of its features. We also discussed The characteristics of Adolescent Age.

  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP DAY 40 Last day of internship... As usual, I reached the school by 8.30 am and then signed the attendance register at HM's office. After that I had morning duty in front of LP section. Today, the last day in school. I had my last class at 8E1 in the second hour. Students gave me their feedbacks, sang songs for me, gave me a farewell from the bottom of their heart. At 11. 00 am we had a meeting with HM and principal. All of us shared our feedbacks and contributed books to the school library. In the 4th hour, I had substitution at 5N. I engaged the students by reading newspaper and some of them engaged in decorating the classroom for Onam celebration.    At 12.20 pm I went for food distribution duty. Then we had lunch.  In the sixth hour, I had class at 8E1 . There was a painting competition for the students that time. COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP DAY 1

           First day of our community living camp. The events of the first day were organised by team Ikshana. The day began with registration at 9am. Each and every duty of day 1 was assigned to the members of Ikshana.             The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Y. Shibu, Assistant Commissioner of Excise, Excise Intelligence and Investigation Bureau, North Zone, Kozhikode at 9:30am in the presence of the principal Dr. K. Y. Benedict, union advisor, Dr. Joju John and camp coordinators Dr. Deepthi Elizabeth Maam and Nadhanine Sir. SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2- DAY 1

 Today was the first day of my school internship phase 2. We collected the timetable from the school on june 7, 2023. The class alloted to me was 8 E1. It is a girls class and there were 32 students in the class. My concerned teacher is Suja Mathai teacher. On the first day, all of us reached the school by 8:45 am. A total of 29 student teachers were alloted to our school, St. Mary's HSS Pattom. Our team leader was Riya J Johnson (Physical Science ) and myself was the assistant leader. On this day, I stepped into the school with lots of expectations and excitement for being the math teacher for 8E1 for the coming two months. At 9 am, Riya and I met the Headmaster Rani ma'am and principal Fr. Nelson, submitted the attendance register and all of us signed it. The day started with morning prayer at 9.25 am.
