Today, the day began with optional class. Deepthi ma'am taught us about Micro teaching skills - Stimulus variation, Reinforcement, Questioning and Blackboard. The next hour was handled by Archana ma'am. We discussed about Intelligence, Theories of intelligence and Measurement of intelligence. The afternoon session was handled by Ancy ma'am. We learnt about the Western Thinker - Froebel. At the end of the day, we had Holy Mass   at the college chapel.  

  Today, we had technology online class at 11 am. Social Science optional started their seminar today. We came to know more about the topics - NME-ICT, NPTEL, KITE and Victers. ADVITHIYA'S FIRST PROGRAMME!!! Today, we, Advithiya - College Union 2021-22 conducted our first programme- Virtual Exam Orientation Programme. The programme started at 6 pm via Google meet. There were about 100 participants.  First we had an exceptional session handled by Swathi Krishna, BA Sociology first rank holder. She shared her journey to success with us, which inspired me a lot. In the next session, our principal, Benedict Sir shared some tips to success. How to combat exam fear and some memory tips were shared by Dr.   Giby ma'am. In the next session Dr. Shalini Ma'am made us aware about Revision Skills and Presentation Skills. How to overcome obstacles? Dr Shafi Thomson Sir, rank holder, Doordarshan resource person; gave us some tips. In the last session Dr Joju John Sir, our union advisor,

Today, we had online class which started at 9:30 am. First hour was optional. Amalu presented Reading and Reflection on the book മയ്യഴിപുഴയുടെ തീരങ്ങളിൽ by എം മുകുന്ദൻ. After that, me, Sruthi and Stijo presented our assignment on the topic -  Drawing and Interpreting graphs and charts. The next class was handled by Giby ma'am. We learnt about Adjustment, Adjustment Process, Conflict Management and Types of conflict. Last hour we had technology class. English optional presented seminar on the topics - Measures for preventing misuse of internet and Health hazards of using computer.

 Today our day started with yoga class. We learnt how to do Surya Namaskaram. After the yoga class we had Philosophy class. Natural Science optional presented their seminar on the topics - Short term and long term effect of alcohol, treatment, Corruption - types, causes, effects and corruption in education. In the afternoon session, we had optional class. Shalu presnted seminar on Arithmetic Skills. After that Deepthi ma'am explained about Micro teaching and Micro teaching cycle. The last hour was handled by Benedict Sir. We learnt about Micro teaching subskills - Set Induction, Stimulus Variation and Questioning.

 The day started with optional class. Deepthi ma'am explained on how to write a Lesson Plan. Next session was handled by Maya ma'am. Natural Science optional presented seminar on the topics - Drug Abuse and Alcohol Abuse. In the afternoon session, Archana Ma'am discussed about Types of intelligence and also we discussed on how to handle the individual differences of students. 

Today was the auspicious day of inauguration of the 66th College Union. All of us were busy with the duty assigned to us. Chief Guest Abhilash Mohanan Sir, Deputy Editor Mathrubhumi News arrived by 10 am and there was a flash mob by us. After that Abhilash Sir released the 66th College Union name ADVITHIYA... Then the official meeting at the auditorium started. Abhilash Sir inaugurated our Union Advithiya and Aswath Lal Sir, Cine Artist inaugurated the arts club. By 2 pm, cultural programs by the students began. Dance, skit, folk song... The stage was on fire.... The inauguration of our college union ended well and it was a nice start to Advithiya...

  Today the first hour was handled by Benedict Sir. In this class we learnt more about Levels of teaching, micro teaching and macro teaching.  Sir also asked us to develop the habit of keeping Vocabulary Chart. The next hour was optional. We discussed the chapter Money Math of 8th standard as part of content analysis and also referred the samples on how to prepare a lesson plan. In the afternoon session we had Yoga Exam. We have done four aasanas - Padmasana, Shalabhasana, Dhanurasana and Naukasaana for the exam.

Today our day began with yoga class. First we discussed about the ayurvedic, allopathy and homeo remedies for asthma, insomnia  and headache. After that we learnt different yoga aasanas. The next hour was optional. Shalu took her seminar on the topic Dalton Plan. After that Deepthi ma'am explained about Planning of instructions, Year Plan and Unit Plan. In the afternoon session the oath taking ceremony of the 66th college union happened. Joju sir is the advisor of the college union 2021-2023. Chairperson, vice chairman, general secretary, arts club secretary, UUC, lady representatives, sports club secretaries, magazine editor and sub editors, association secretaries took their oath. I was elected as magazine sub editor. After that we had an official meeting of the 66th college union with principal and teachers. We discussed the upcoming events to be organized by the union.  

  Today, the day began with the assembly conducted by Semester 3 English optional students. The assembly started at 9:15 am with a beautiful prayer song followed by college anthem, pledge, news, campus news, thought for the day, importance of the week and donation of book to the library. After that Bindhu Ma'am shared her message with us. Assembly ended  with the National Anthem. The first hour started at 10:00 am and was handled by Deepthi ma'am. We  learnt  about Content Analysis and its components.  Then Stijo presented her seminar on the topic Drill Work. The next hour was Joju Sir's Technology class. Natural Science optional presented their seminar on the topics e-learning, Learning Management System and Content Management System. The afternoon session began with Ancy ma'am's class. We learnt about the Western Thinker - Froebel. Last hour was physical education. George sir distributed the marks of the one word exam conducted last week.

Today the first hour was optional which started with reading and reflection presentation by Sr.Deepa on the book  'ഓടയിൽ നിന്ന് ' by P. Kesavadev. Then Sona presented her seminar on the topic ASSIGNMENT. Also, Deepthi ma'am explained about the origin of word Pedagogy and about planning and preparation in teaching. The next session was handled by Maya ma'am. English optional continued their seminar on Ethnicity and Indian Languages. In the afternoon session Ancy ma'am explained about Language Development. In the last hour there was yoga class for Malayalam, Physical Science and Natural Science optionals.

Today, the day started with the assembly of Social Science optional. Principal, Dr. K Y Benedict Sir inaugurated the Social Science association 2021-23 EN-ARCHEIN.  After the assembly we had optional classes, which started with reading and reflection presentation by Sona on the book 'നാലുകെട്ട്' by M T Vasudevan Nair. Then Naveena presented her seminar on the topic Concept of Questioning.  The next hour was handled by Maya ma'am. We had a clear discussion on the topic Culture and its various aspects.  Then we had Technology class in  which English optional continued their seminar on   role of teacher in conscientizing about child abuse over the net - behavioral changes, solutions, teachers role.  Finally, we had a meeting in the auditorium to discuss about the International Conference going to happen in the coming three days.
