TEACHING PRACTICE DAY 2



The second day of my teaching practice, I reached the school at 8:00 am and then signed the attendance register at the principal's office. All of us then went to our alloted space, assembly hall. After the morning prayer, all of us prepared for our classes.

In the first hour, I had class at 9A. Today, I taught a new concept - Volume of Prism.




After the class, in the second hour, I engaged in my record works. In the third hour, I went to observe my friend's class, Stijo George, at 8A. In the 4th hour, I had class at 9A. I engaged the class in solving problems based on Volume of prisms.

After the lunch break, I went for substitution at 7 D. In our free time we also practiced smart boards in the classes. At 3 pm the class ended. We signed the attendance register at principal's office and left the school by 3:40 pm.

SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2- DAY 1

 Today was the first day of my school internship phase 2. We collected the timetable from the school on june 7, 2023. The class alloted to me was 8 E1. It is a girls class and there were 32 students in the class. My concerned teacher is Suja Mathai teacher. On the first day, all of us reached the school by 8:45 am. A total of 29 student teachers were alloted to our school, St. Mary's HSS Pattom. Our team leader was Riya J Johnson (Physical Science ) and myself was the assistant leader. On this day, I stepped into the school with lots of expectations and excitement for being the math teacher for 8E1 for the coming two months. At 9 am, Riya and I met the Headmaster Rani ma'am and principal Fr. Nelson, submitted the attendance register and all of us signed it. The day started with morning prayer at 9.25 am. INTERNSHIP DAY 34

 INTERNSHIP DAY 34 34 th day of internship phase 2. I reached the school by 8.30 AM and then signed the attendance register at HM’s office. After that I had morning duty in front of gate 13 from 8.45 AM to 9.15. The day began with the morning prayer at 9.25 am.  In the morning session I had no class, So I engaged in completing my record works.  Today I had food distribution duty from 12.20 PM to 1.00 PM.  After that, In the 6 th hour I had class at 6E1 from 2.00 PM to 2.40 PM. The class dealt with problems on unchanging sums.  In the last hour I got substitution at 5F. I engaged the class by making the children read malayalam text book.  The class ended by 3.10 PM. After the National Anthem I signed the attendance register at HM’s office and left the school by 4.15 PM.

  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP DAY 40 Last day of internship... As usual, I reached the school by 8.30 am and then signed the attendance register at HM's office. After that I had morning duty in front of LP section. Today, the last day in school. I had my last class at 8E1 in the second hour. Students gave me their feedbacks, sang songs for me, gave me a farewell from the bottom of their heart. At 11. 00 am we had a meeting with HM and principal. All of us shared our feedbacks and contributed books to the school library. In the 4th hour, I had substitution at 5N. I engaged the students by reading newspaper and some of them engaged in decorating the classroom for Onam celebration.    At 12.20 pm I went for food distribution duty. Then we had lunch.  In the sixth hour, I had class at 8E1 . There was a painting competition for the students that time.
