INTENSE TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1 BEGINS


 Today was the first day of my intense teaching practice phase 1. This was my first experience as a teacher trainee. The school alloted to me was Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Nalanchira, and the classes assigned to me was 9A (State Syllabus) and 7B ( ICSE). I was so excited to be their math teacher for the coming days.



Twelve of us, two from each optional was alloted to the school. I was the team leader and the assistant leader was Megha, Natural Science. On the very first day, all of us reached the school at 8 am and headed towards the principal's office. We met the principal, handed over the official letter and attendance register from our college. Principal, James sir wished us great days ahead.

I was having the first hour from 8:35 am - 9:20 am at 9 A everyday. By praying to God Almighty I went to my first class. Beena ma'am was the class incharge. I began the class with a silent prayer, created a rapport with the students and took the class. The students were nice and cooperative.  There were 38 students in my class.

The school was busy preparing for the 50th annual day celebrations. I also got substitution at 4G and 5F today. The classes ended at 3 pm, we signed the attendance register and left the school by 3:40 pm.

SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2- DAY 1

 Today was the first day of my school internship phase 2. We collected the timetable from the school on june 7, 2023. The class alloted to me was 8 E1. It is a girls class and there were 32 students in the class. My concerned teacher is Suja Mathai teacher. On the first day, all of us reached the school by 8:45 am. A total of 29 student teachers were alloted to our school, St. Mary's HSS Pattom. Our team leader was Riya J Johnson (Physical Science ) and myself was the assistant leader. On this day, I stepped into the school with lots of expectations and excitement for being the math teacher for 8E1 for the coming two months. INTERNSHIP DAY 34

 INTERNSHIP DAY 34 34 th day of internship phase 2. I reached the school by 8.30 AM and then signed the attendance register at HM’s office. After that I had morning duty in front of gate 13 from 8.45 AM to 9.15. The day began with the morning prayer at 9.25 am.  In the morning session I had no class, So I engaged in completing my record works.  Today I had food distribution duty from 12.20 PM to 1.00 PM.  After that, In the 6 th hour I had class at 6E1 from 2.00 PM to 2.40 PM. The class dealt with problems on unchanging sums.  In the last hour I got substitution at 5F. I engaged the class by making the children read malayalam text book.  The class ended by 3.10 PM. After the National Anthem I signed the attendance register at HM’s office and left the school by 4.15 PM.

  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP DAY 40 Last day of internship... As usual, I reached the school by 8.30 am and then signed the attendance register at HM's office. After that I had morning duty in front of LP section. Today, the last day in school. I had my last class at 8E1 in the second hour. Students gave me their feedbacks, sang songs for me, gave me a farewell from the bottom of their heart. At 11. 00 am we had a meeting with HM and principal. All of us shared our feedbacks and contributed books to the school library. In the 4th hour, I had substitution at 5N. I engaged the students by reading newspaper and some of them engaged in decorating the classroom for Onam celebration.    At 12.20 pm I went for food distribution duty. Then we had lunch.  In the sixth hour, I had class at 8E1 . There was a painting competition for the students that time.
