World Cancer Day is celebrated every year on February 4. It is a is a global uniting initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).
The theme for World Cancer Day 2022 is ‘Close the Care Gap’. Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally. The day aims to prevent millions of deaths each year by raising awareness and education about cancer.

The day started with Maya ma'am's class. We learnt about Physical Naturalism, Mechanical Naturalism and Biological Naturalism.
Second hour was handled by Ancy ma'am. We discussed in detail adolescence, the role of teacher in the development of a child, developmental tasks and developmental hazards.
Last hour was optional, started with Sruthi's thought
'Focus on being a good listener, which includes being patient and attentive'.
Then Monitha presented a seminar on The Contribution of Great Mathematician- Srinivasa Ramanujan.
Finally, Deepthi ma'am discussed about Curriculum framework, National Curriculum Framework 2005 (NCF 2005), Objectives of Mathematics Learning in NCF.
