World Cancer Day is celebrated every year on February 4. It is a is a global uniting initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). 

The theme for World Cancer Day 2022 is ‘Close the Care Gap’. Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally. The day aims to prevent millions of deaths each year by raising awareness and education about cancer.

The day started with Maya ma'am's class. We learnt about Physical Naturalism, Mechanical Naturalism and Biological Naturalism. 




Second hour was handled by Ancy ma'am. We discussed in detail adolescence, the role of teacher in the development of a child, developmental tasks and developmental hazards. 







Last hour was optional, started with Sruthi's thought

    'Focus on being a good listener, which includes being patient and attentive'. 

Then Monitha presented a seminar on The Contribution of Great Mathematician- Srinivasa Ramanujan. 



Finally, Deepthi ma'am discussed about  Curriculum framework, National Curriculum Framework 2005 (NCF 2005), Objectives of Mathematics Learning in NCF.

SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2- DAY 1

 Today was the first day of my school internship phase 2. We collected the timetable from the school on june 7, 2023. The class alloted to me was 8 E1. It is a girls class and there were 32 students in the class. My concerned teacher is Suja Mathai teacher. On the first day, all of us reached the school by 8:45 am. A total of 29 student teachers were alloted to our school, St. Mary's HSS Pattom. Our team leader was Riya J Johnson (Physical Science ) and myself was the assistant leader. On this day, I stepped into the school with lots of expectations and excitement for being the math teacher for 8E1 for the coming two months. At 9 am, Riya and I met the Headmaster Rani ma'am and principal Fr. Nelson, submitted the attendance register and all of us signed it. The day started with morning prayer at 9.25 am. INTERNSHIP DAY 34

 INTERNSHIP DAY 34 34 th day of internship phase 2. I reached the school by 8.30 AM and then signed the attendance register at HM’s office. After that I had morning duty in front of gate 13 from 8.45 AM to 9.15. The day began with the morning prayer at 9.25 am.  In the morning session I had no class, So I engaged in completing my record works.  Today I had food distribution duty from 12.20 PM to 1.00 PM.  After that, In the 6 th hour I had class at 6E1 from 2.00 PM to 2.40 PM. The class dealt with problems on unchanging sums.  In the last hour I got substitution at 5F. I engaged the class by making the children read malayalam text book.  The class ended by 3.10 PM. After the National Anthem I signed the attendance register at HM’s office and left the school by 4.15 PM.

  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP DAY 40 Last day of internship... As usual, I reached the school by 8.30 am and then signed the attendance register at HM's office. After that I had morning duty in front of LP section. Today, the last day in school. I had my last class at 8E1 in the second hour. Students gave me their feedbacks, sang songs for me, gave me a farewell from the bottom of their heart. At 11. 00 am we had a meeting with HM and principal. All of us shared our feedbacks and contributed books to the school library. In the 4th hour, I had substitution at 5N. I engaged the students by reading newspaper and some of them engaged in decorating the classroom for Onam celebration.    At 12.20 pm I went for food distribution duty. Then we had lunch.  In the sixth hour, I had class at 8E1 . There was a painting competition for the students that time.
