Second day of school induction

 


The second day of our school induction... Today all of us were assigned morning duty to manage and maintain discipline of the arriving students. As I was standing in front of the LP section, one of the students greeted me 'GOOD MORNING TEACHER'. The very first moment in my life a student called me teacher. The happiness and feeling that I am a teacher is beyond words to explain. 

After the morning duty we went to explore the campus. We visited the Nehru Garden, Waste Management System, Canteen and different labs of the school. In between we also had an interaction with the IED students. The separate IED resource room was a great initiative from the side of the school. 






Then we had a meeting with Ajish Sir, who is in charge of assigning duties to us. Each one of us were allotted to experienced teachers to observe their  classes and also given classes for interaction. After the meeting we went to the noon duty. 

Then after lunch we visited the respective teachers alloted to us. By the evening we submitted today's feedback to  HM and signed the attendance register. 

Yet another day of being a real teacher ends here...

  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP DAY 40 Last day of internship... As usual, I reached the school by 8.30 am and then signed the attendance register at HM's office. After that I had morning duty in front of LP section. Today, the last day in school. I had my last class at 8E1 in the second hour. Students gave me their feedbacks, sang songs for me, gave me a farewell from the bottom of their heart. At 11. 00 am we had a meeting with HM and principal. All of us shared our feedbacks and contributed books to the school library. In the 4th hour, I had substitution at 5N. I engaged the students by reading newspaper and some of them engaged in decorating the classroom for Onam celebration.    At 12.20 pm I went for food distribution duty. Then we had lunch.  In the sixth hour, I had class at 8E1 . There was a painting competition for the students that time. COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP DAY 1

           First day of our community living camp. The events of the first day were organised by team Ikshana. The day began with registration at 9am. Each and every duty of day 1 was assigned to the members of Ikshana.             The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Y. Shibu, Assistant Commissioner of Excise, Excise Intelligence and Investigation Bureau, North Zone, Kozhikode at 9:30am in the presence of the principal Dr. K. Y. Benedict, union advisor, Dr. Joju John and camp coordinators Dr. Deepthi Elizabeth Maam and Nadhanine Sir. For the inaugural ceremony prayer song was by Raghi G, welcome- Vice chairperson, Aravind M, introductory speech- Dr. K. Y. SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2- DAY 1

 Today was the first day of my school internship phase 2. We collected the timetable from the school on june 7, 2023. The class alloted to me was 8 E1. It is a girls class and there were 32 students in the class. My concerned teacher is Suja Mathai teacher. On the first day, all of us reached the school by 8:45 am. A total of 29 student teachers were alloted to our school, St. Mary's HSS Pattom. Our team leader was Riya J Johnson (Physical Science ) and myself was the assistant leader. On this day, I stepped into the school with lots of expectations and excitement for being the math teacher for 8E1 for the coming two months. At 9 am, Riya and I met the Headmaster Rani ma'am and principal Fr. Nelson, submitted the attendance register and all of us signed it. The day started with morning prayer at 9.25 am.
