First Assembly 2022

Today, the first assembly of 2022 was conducted by Natural Science optional. The assembly started with the College Anthem followed by prayer song, pledge, news, MTTC news, importance of the week and the day, thought for the day. Natural Science association 2021-23 , HORUS was inaugurated by Gibi teacher. They also donated books to the library. The assembly ended with the National Anthem. 

NATIONAL YOUTH DAY



National Youth Day, also known as Vivekananda Jayanti, is celebrated on 12 January, being the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984 the Government of India declared this day as National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year.

Today's classes was handled by the M.Ed interns from Thycadu. We learnt about the 'ROLE OF SOCIETY IN EDUCATION' and 'INTELLIGENCE TESTS'. 

Since some of our teachers and friends were tested covid positive we were asked to leave the campus at the noon and was informed that the classes will be online till the next Wednesday. Let's hope for the best and pray to Almighty for the well being of our MTTC family...

  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP DAY 40 Last day of internship... As usual, I reached the school by 8.30 am and then signed the attendance register at HM's office. After that I had morning duty in front of LP section. Today, the last day in school. I had my last class at 8E1 in the second hour. Students gave me their feedbacks, sang songs for me, gave me a farewell from the bottom of their heart. At 11. 00 am we had a meeting with HM and principal. All of us shared our feedbacks and contributed books to the school library. In the 4th hour, I had substitution at 5N. I engaged the students by reading newspaper and some of them engaged in decorating the classroom for Onam celebration.    At 12.20 pm I went for food distribution duty. Then we had lunch.  In the sixth hour, I had class at 8E1 . There was a painting competition for the students that time. Visit to Dr. Guru Gopinath Natanagramam

The Guru Gopinath Natanagramam is a cultural institution functioning under the Department of Culture, Government of Kerala. The centre, named after the late Dr. Guru Gopinath, a pioneer reformer of Kathakali dance, was established in Vattiyoorkavu, a suburb of capital city Thiruvananthapuram. The Guru Gopinath Natanagramam has been established as a centre for learning, training and research in various Indian Dance forms, particularly Kerala Natanam, the dance form composed by the maestro Guru Gopinath. The institution carries on the attempts initiated by the Guru to popularise the dance forms of Kerala and to find fresh talents. SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2- DAY 1

 Today was the first day of my school internship phase 2. We collected the timetable from the school on june 7, 2023. The class alloted to me was 8 E1. It is a girls class and there were 32 students in the class. My concerned teacher is Suja Mathai teacher. On the first day, all of us reached the school by 8:45 am. A total of 29 student teachers were alloted to our school, St. Mary's HSS Pattom. Our team leader was Riya J Johnson (Physical Science ) and myself was the assistant leader. On this day, I stepped into the school with lots of expectations and excitement for being the math teacher for 8E1 for the coming two months. At 9 am, Riya and I met the Headmaster Rani ma'am and principal Fr. Nelson, submitted the attendance register and all of us signed it. The day started with morning prayer at 9.25 am.
