It's_me _Anju

 Today, we, Mathematics Association Dyuthi 2021-2023 got the chance to conduct our 2nd assembly. Assembly started at 9.15 am with prayer song followed by college anthem, pledge, thought for the day, importance of the day, news, campus news , contribution of book to the library and principal's message. Assembly ended by 9.45 am with national anthem. Also today we conducted a photo exhibition as part of Hiroshima Nagasaki Day.  Students from different schools came to see the exhibition.

  Today the first hour was handled by Ancy Ma'am. We learnt about Learning Disability - Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and Dyspraxia. After that we had Physical Education class. We learnt the rules and regulations and also field marking of Shotput and Javelin Throw. In the afternoon session we had optional class. We discussed about microteaching skills and divided the groups for taking microteaching class in the coming day. At 2.30 we had Holy Mass at the college chapel.

 After two days of holidays due to heavy rainfall we came back to college today. We started our day with yoga class. We learnt the steps of Sooryanamaskaram and also practised different yoga asanas. Next hour was handled by Joju sir. We learnt about the Qualities of a good achievement test- Objectivity and reliability. In the afternoon session we had Physical Education examination.

  Today, the day began with morning prayer in the college chapel which made my day more energetic. The first hour was optional class. Deepthi ma'am taught us the first unit of pedagogy - Techno Pedagogic Content Knowledge and Self instructional Strategies. We also made preparations for our assembly which is going to be happening in the coming Wednesday. In the afternoon session we had Joju sir's class. We learnt about Formative and Summative Assessment and had an open debate on the merits and demerits of internal evaluation and external evaluation. Also we learnt about Achievement Test.

  Today the first hour was handled by Maya ma'am.We were learning about Dravidian Culture in the last classes. In today's class we discussed about Salai ( for higher education). Also at the end of the class we discussed about the importance of sex education in our curriculum and in schools. Next hour we had yoga class. We learnt some steps of Sooryanamaskaram. Last hour was handled by Ancy ma'am. We learnt about 

  Today the first hour was optional. Deepthi ma'am gave instructions regarding micro teaching lesson plan and divided us into groups for the discussion of skills. We also engaged in writing content analysis. In the afternoon, an M.Ed trainee from Department of Education came as part of her project and we filled a questionnaire based on reading habit. After the lunch break we had Joju sir's class.We learnt about the purpose and functions of educational evaluation.

  Today the first hour was handled by Ancy ma'am. We learnt about Slow Learners . After the class we also discussed about the Psychology Exhibition we are planning to conduct in our college in association with psychology club. Next session was handled by George sir. We learnt about how to mark a non standard track and also how to mark stagger. In the afternoon session we had optional class. We engaged in writing content analysis and also discussed about the Psychology Exhibition and divided groups for the same.
